Cambodia is a small country (about the same size as Oklahoma) nestled between Thailand and Laos on the North and West, and Viet Nam on the East and the Southeast. The country is bounded on the Southeast by the Gulf of Thailand.  Two main airports are used for entering Cambodia:  Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
  • It is believed that the first pagoda in Phnom Penh “Wat Phnom” was built in 1373 to house four statues of Buddha that were mysteriously deposited there by the Mekong river.  This pagoda is believed to be so powerful that any wish made here will be granted. Yes, be careful what you wish for!

  • The Royal Palace grounds contain several buildings, including the spectacular Silver Pagoda. This pagoda is worth exploring just to see the 5,000 silver tiles which cover the entire floor


  • Angkor Wat is best known as the most significant example of an earthly paradise.  It represents an engineering marvel that still baffles many experts today.
