Meet the guide at the Ubud hotel lobby at 08:00 for 30 minute drive to East of Ubud to visit Bedulu Village where it is known as the center of Pejeng Kingdom in 10-13 Centuries. Visit The Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah) Goa Gajah is a significant Hindu archaeological site. Goa Gajah is locally known as the Elephant Cave because of its close proximity to the Elephant River. A mysterious cave, relics, and ancient bathing pools set amid green rice paddies. The site is mentioned in the Javanese poem Desawarnana written in 1365. An extensive bathing place on the site was not excavated until the 1950s. These appear to have been built toward off evil spirits. Take a walk down through staircase at the back of the temple leading to the Yeh Pulu Relieve. The name Yeh Pulu means rice paddies and Natural Holy Spring. The relieve is about 25 meter long and 2 meters wide. Afterward we will take you to visit Gunung Kawi Temple located on mystical Pakerisan River valley in Tampak Siring Village, an archaeological complex carved out of the living rock and dating back to 11th century. Walk down 300+ steps to reach the temple passing by lush jungle and rice terraces. It is one of UNESCO Archeology sites in Bali. We take you a nearby Tirta Empul Temple to experience a small Balinese Hindu ritual of Blessing and purification. This temple is famous for its holy spring water where Balinese worshipers have been drawn to for more than a thousand years. Change your clothes with Sarong, get a small offering from your guide and meet with the Hindu Priest who will lead the blessing ritual.
