Itinerary

Day 1Incheon – Seoul

Receive a warm welcome from your guide after arrival at Seoul Incheon International Airport. Private transfer to your hotel.

Day 2Seoul City Tour

Visit Changing of the Guard Ceremony; National Palace Museum; Gyeongbok Palace, the largest of the 5 royal palaces of Joseon dynasty built in 1394 and don traditional hanbok attire to complete the experience. You have the culture experience of wearing Hanbok (traditional clothes making wooden mask coloring). Continue to Insadong where antique street filled with various tea cafes, art craft shops.
Visit the Bukchon Hanok Village is the perfect destination for those seeking to learn about and enjoy the beauty of Hanok (traditional Korean-style house). Then visit Seoul Tower on Mt.Namsan for a bird’s eye view of metropolitan Seoul.

*On Tuesday Gyeongbok Palace, will be changed into Deoksugung Palace.

Day 3 Seoul – Busan

Transfer to Seoul Station. Take KTX Bullet train ride to Busan (about 2 hour and 40minutes).
Afternoon, visit Gukje Market, Busan Tower at Yongdusan Park. Then visit the Gamcheon Cultural Center, a picturesque neighborhood of colorful residences transformed from a shanty town after the Korean War. Visit the urban beach of Haeundae. Enjoy local seafood dinner at Jagalchi Fish Market (Korea’s largest seafood market, selling both live and dried fish).

Day 4Busan – Gyeongju

Drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of historic Gyeongju with its cultural artifacts, temple and palace ruins as well as Royal Tumuli Park and its ancient royal burial tombs. Visit Gyeongju National Museum (closed on Monday), Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond (night view is recommendable), pottery making.

Day 5Full day in Gyeongju

Visit the ancient architectural complex of the Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, considered a masterpiece of Buddhist art and a UNESCO Heritage Site. You get to experience Temple Life at a Golgulsa Temple in the morning including Zen meditation, Tea ceremony talking with a monk, try a Buddhist Monastic traditional meal ‘Gongyang” and participate in a Buddhist prayer ceremony.

Day 6Gyeongju – Seoul

Transfer to Gyeongju Station. Transfer to Seoul by KTX Bullet train (2 hour and 10minutes).

Day 7 Full day in Seoul

* Learn about the process of making Korean rice wine through a handson brewing experience and enjoy sampling various Korean alcohol (wine, beer and spirits).
• Option 2: Tea Sesson at “Matchacha”
* Learn about Korea’s tea culture through an intimate tea lesson and tea brewing seminar. This Private Tea Session- will leave you feeling a sense of peace, wellbeing, and relaxation participating in a Korean tea ritual.
• Korean Home cooking class with local market tour at ”OME”
* Learn about various famous Korean dishes with a professional Korean instructor
* Experience purchasing ingredients at a local traditional market and then cook and eat Korean food you made together with your personal Korean chef in a traditional Hanok house in Seoul.
• Farewell dinner
