Itinerary

Day 1Seoul Arrival

Arrive at Seoul Incheon International Airport. Meet your guide and private
transfer to the hotel.

Day 2Seoul - Temple Life Experience - Kimchi Cooking Class (B,L,D)

Start your day at Seoul’s ancient Buddhist temple for worship and meditation. Learn about Korean Buddhism, join morning chanting, and watch monks perform daily tasks. Enjoy a vegetarian meal in a brass bowl, believed to aid digestion. In the afternoon, share stories about kimchi and learn to make Beachu Kimchi to take home in the provided container. Notify us of any food allergies.

Day 3 Seoul – Chuncheon – Sokcho (B,L,D)

Take a transfer to Nami Island, a charming half-moon-shaped river island in Chuncheon. Known for tree-lined paths, riverside strolls, and forest scenery, it’s a must-visit. Enjoy Lunch Dakgalbi – chicken BBQ, then head to Sokcho City. For dinner, try Yaksu Dolsot Jeongsik, a hot pot rice with tasty side dishes.

Day 4Sokcho (B,L,D)

Explore Mt. Seorak National Park and visit the Shinheungsa Temple, head of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. Ride a cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress for breathtaking views. For lunch, savor Dubu Beoseot Jeongol, a healthy Korean hot pot. Enjoy a Sokcho City Tour visiting Jungang Market, Daepo Port, and Abai Village. Finish with a dinner of Saengseon Gui, grilled fish with a variety of side dishes. 

Day 5Sokcho – Andong (B,L,D)

Transfer to the beautiful Youngju Buseoksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue your journey to Andong, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch of Andong Jjimdak. Explore the charming Hahoe Village, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit the fascinating Hahoe Mask Museum. For dinner, savor a delightful Galbisal set featuring grilled beef chops.

Day 6Andong – Gyeongju (B,L,D)

Transfer to Gyeongju, the historic Shilla Kingdom capital. Enjoy Sambap Bulguksa lunch. Explore UNESCO Sites like Temple, Seokguram Grotto, Tumuli Park, and Gyeongju National Museum (closed Mondays). Visit Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond. Dinner features a Samgyeopsal set with pork belly and sausage. 

Day 7Gyeongju – Seoul (B)

Take the KTX train to Seoul.
Transfer to the hotel, check in, and enjoy free time at leisure.

Day 8Seoul Departure (B)

Transfer to Incheon airport for departure.
