Day 2: Seoul (B)
The Gyeongbokgung Palace, where you’ll witness a guard-changing ceremony. Explore the Hanoks of the 600-year-old Bukchon Hanok Village. Take a walking tour of the art gallery-filled Insa-dong neighborhood. Visit the Museum Kimchikan and learn all about kimchi, taste samples, and make it yourself. Venture to the top of N Seoul Tower and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the city.
Day 3: Seoul | Busan (B)
Travel by bullet train to Busan, the second largest city in South Korea. Visit Gamcheon Culture Village and see beautiful alleys lined with street art. Take a train to the Haeundae Area and walk along Haeundae Beach. Visit the famous Jakach Fish Market and Kangtong Food Market.
Day 4: Busan (B)
Visit the coastal 14th-century Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. Stroll through Taejongdae Park and admire the rocky coast. Enjoy a cable car ride over Songdo Beach.
Day 5: Busan | Seoul (B)
Travel back to Seoul by bullet train. Explore Seoul on your own. Take a walking tour along the Yeouido Han River.
Day 6: Seoul | Osaka | Kyoto (B)
Fly to Osaka. Arrive in Osaka—airport meeting. Take a train to Kyoto, a city that conjures up images of sunlit walks around tiered pagodas and quiet lakes lined with cherry blossom trees. Tour of Nara, where you’ll visit the Todaiji Temple and see the Daibutsu, the world’s largest bronze Buddha. Visit the Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, located near the base of the Inari mountain and originally constructed to honor the god of rice.
Day 7: Kyoto (B)
Visit Nijō Castle Explore the tranquil Golden Pavilion. Learn about the ancient techniques used to make kimonos at the Nishijin Textile Center. Take a tour of Arashiyama, including its incredible bamboo forest.
Day 8: Kyoto | Tokyo (B)
Travel to Tokyo by bullet train. Tour of Tokyo, including the Imperial Palace Plaza, Harajuku district, and Meiji Shinto Shrine. Visit Asakusa Kannon Temple, the city’s largest Buddhist temple.
Day 9: Tokyo | Fuji-Hakone-Izu region (B)
Enjoy sightseeing at the awe-inspiring Mount Fuji. Stop at Mount Fuji 5th Station, marking the halfway point of the Yoshida Trail. Visit Lake Saiko and the reconstructed village of Iyashi no Sato Nenba. Explore the Fugaku Fuketsu wind cave and Narusawa Hyoketsu ice cave.
Day 10: Tokyo (B)
Transfer to airport for departure.
