Room Category

All of the individual rooms and suites at our Ubud spa resort sit within one of our freestanding Residences. Every room is different, but has access to its Residence’s pools, lounge areas and shaded pavilions.

  • Garden Room: 32-45sqm, featuring king-sized or queen-sized beds and access to their Residences shared pool, lounge and dining areas
  • Terrace Suite: 45-80sqm, like Garden Rooms, each Terrace Suite occupies one of our four- and five-suite Residences and affords access to the Residence’s shared pool, lounge and dining areas. The Terrace Suites also have their own private outdoor area — either a terrace or garden.
  • Como Shambhala Suite: 70-96sqm, each boasts an interior which has been individually decorated with Indonesian antiques, and a generous en-suite with private Jacuzzi. COMO Shambhala Suites also have access to the Residence’s shared pool, lounge and dining areas.
  • Como Suite At Umabona: 308sqm, decorated in grand style by our interior designer Koichiro Ikebuchi. Details consist of two king-sized master suites, a Jacuzzi and the suite’s own private infinity pool as well as small indoor plunge pool. Its living room provides ample space for casual entertaining, while the dining room makes the perfect place for romantic dinners for two or intimate family meals.
  • Umabona Residence: this Residence, whose name means House of the Earth Son, is unique among Bali spa resorts for its grandeur. The aesthetic takes its influence from the Majapahit palaces and their formal pleasure gardens with interior details that include hand carvings, fine antiques, courtly furniture, gilding, richly painted walls and precious textiles. The views look towards Mount Batu Karu. The two-bedroom COMO Suite has its own pool; for other rooms, see our floor plan.
  • Wanakasa Residence: this Residence—whose name means Forest in the Mist—sits amongst the trees, the semi-circular edge of its private pool echoing the bend of the Ayung River 100 metres below. Columns made from wide trunks of bingkirai trees support the main living pavilion and pool while teak floors and ironwood-shingle roofs provide the atmosphere of a five-star treehouse. There is a large master COMO Shambhala Suite, with a private Jacuzzi, two Terrace Suites, two Garden Rooms and a study, which can be converted into an additional bedroom or treatment room.
  • Tirta Ening Residence: this Residence, whose name means Clear Water is dominated by a 91 square metre principal COMO Shambhala suite with an exquisite Japanese water garden featuring a private waterfall. The entire Residence has a Zen feel. The sound of water can be heard throughout. The dining and living rooms cover some 113 square metres. The pool is stunning. There is a central floating pavilion constructed from batu kuning (yellow rock) and teak wood with an ironwood shingled roof, reminiscent of old Javanese homes.
  • Tejasuara Residence: 1,200 tonnes of stone were imported from the nearby island of Sumba to construct this bold Residence, whose name means Sound of Fire, finished with tribal cloth furnishing, black bamboo beds, thatch roofing and a fire pit burns beside the infinity pool. There are three substantial Terrace Suites and the COMO Shambhala Suite, which has a private Jacuzzi, meditation garden, courtyard and pavilion. There is also a large communal living and dining room, as well as a study, which can also be converted into an extra bedroom or treatment room
  • Bayugita Residence: this Residence—whose name means Windsong—combines the clean lines of Balinese tradition with details from colonial Java, like Victorian antique baths and Venetian and Dutch beds. There is a COMO Shambhala Suite with Jacuzzi, two Terrace Suites (of 45sq m/484sq ft and 80sq m/861sq ft), one Garden Room and a study, which can be used as an additional bedroom or treatment room. Outside, the dramatic infinity-edge pool stretches towards the surrounding rice fields.
  • One-Bedroom Pool Villa: 213sqm, mix of cool and contemporary style together with traditional Balinese design elements, the ample space and peerless forest views allows for lounging and leisure. There is also a private pool, Jacuzzi and outdoor deck
  • Two-Bedroom Pool Villa: 235sqm, each boast a private swimming pool, Jacuzzi, large living and dining areas. Split across two levels, each floor is an exclusive space unto its own, with spectacular views of the verdant valley below. Both bedrooms feature their own personal entrances for that extra touch of discretion.
  • Three-Bedroom Pool Villa: 620sqm, feel more like private homes, thanks to their residential sense of style and expansive living areas including a fully equipped kitchen. The two master bedrooms and one guest bedroom are matched only by breathtaking views and a private garden teeming with local flora, an infinity pool and Jacuzzi.
