Arrive in Taipei, receive a warm welcome from our tour guide and private transfer to your hotel check-in. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
Explore Taipei’s top attractions on a full-day tour of traditional religious venues, historical landmarks, and scenic spots. Your guided tour includes the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall – a magnificent monument dedicated to Taiwan’s former president, and the Longshan Temple – a renowned religious sanctuary that has stood the test of time and Dadaocheng(Dihua Street). You’ll also be treated to breathtaking views of the towering Taipei 101, a majestic skyscraper that has become a symbol of the city, and an invigorating hike up Elephant Mountain, where the panoramic views will take your breath away.

Explore the majestic Qixingshan, also known as Seven Star Mountain, the tallest peak in Taipei that offers a breathtaking view of the seven peaks surrounding the city. Trek through the enchanting Yamingshan National Park, where you’ll witness the beauty of dense forests, grassy fields, and volcanic vents. During the hike, we’ll take breaks, stay hydrated, and capture photos of the surrounding landscape and unique creatures like colorful lizards and birds with amazing plumage. Once we reach the main peak, we continue to the eastern peak, which offers equally stunning views. Lastly, we stop at Lengshuikeng Hot Spring area where you can take a relaxing dip in the hot springs before returning to the entrance for a ride back to Taipei. Don’t miss out on this magical experience.

Explore the culture and art, history and heart, of Taiwan’s Central City on our Taichung Art & Culture Tour. Travel back in time with a tour and rich history lesson of the grandiose Wufeng Lin Family House, the preserved mansion of one of the most influential families during Taiwan’s Japanese occupation. After lunch, visit the place that used to be the dormitory area built by the Taiwan Provincial Government for the residence of auditing office employees. It was then redeveloped into a cultural and creative center. Then, explore the ultra-modern National Taichung Theater, one of Taiwan’s most recent and renowned architectural achievements. Finally, return to nature with a visit to the Gaomei Wetlands, a well-preserved wetland habitat offering birdwatching and breathtaking sunsets.

Taroko National Park
Taiwan is a mountainous island situated in a subtropical zone. The Tropic of Cancer cuts through the middle of the island, dividing the temperate and tropical climates zones. In addition, southwest airflows and typhoons during summer and the northeast seasonal winds during winter bring an abundance of rain. Together with its diversified topographic features, the island boasts an environment that is special and interesting both in terms of ecology and evolution sense.Taroko National Park’s boundaries include the mouth of Liwu River close to sea level, and also the highest point, Mount Nanhu, which stands at 3,742 meters. This huge difference of altitude within the park provides the visitor with the pleasure of experiencing obvious climate changes along the Central Cross-Island Highway. Subtropical to high altitude vegetation can be observed during a single trip. The visitor is rewarded with captivating experiences brought about by seasonal changes and altitude difference.
Yanzikou (Swallow Grotto) Trail
Following the Central Cross-Island Highway, at Yanzikou (Swallow Grotto) the rock cliffs of the Liwu River gorge seem to reach to heaven while the river runs its swiftest and the distance between the gorge walls so narrow that they almost seem to touch each other.
Changchun Shrine Trail (Eternal Spring Shrine)
The Eternal Spring Shrine was built to honor the workers that died while building the Central Cross-Island Highway. The Changchun Shrine Trail (Eternal Spring Shrine Trail) begins with a descending stairway at the end of the Old Changchun bridge. The narrow trail goes through short tunnels hugs along cliffs over the Liwu River. The actual Eternal Spring Shrine is only 300 meters from the trailhead and relatively easy short walk.

Shifen Waterfall
Shifen Waterfall is a curtain style waterfall. Due to its similarity with the Niagara Falls, it is reputed as the “Taiwan’s Niagara Falls”. The voluminous water and mighty force forms mists on top of the waterfall. If the sun happens to shine upon it, there is the chance to see rainbows hanging over the waterfall, perfect for pictures!The “Shifen Waterfall” is reputed as Taiwan’s Niagara for its magnificence. If the sun is out, there are chances of seeing a rainbow. It is the most popular tourist site in New Taipei City!
Sky Lantern
Make and release sky lanterns in Shifen, and watch your wishes fly to the sky.
Shifen Old Street
The main feature here is the intersection of the old street built to connect with the railways. One can experience interesting “train passing by doorways” and the fun of shopping besides the railway tracks. It is also a well-known site where many Taiwanese singers take their MVs. One could stroll along the eateries or buy a “Shifen(very) happy” postcard and send to yourself in the future. If interested, you could also purchase a sky lantern and write down wishes to bless yourself with friends and families. The friendly shop owner will not only offer advice but also instruct how to take nice photos with the sky lanterns!
