After breakfast at the hotel, start the day by visiting temples in the old city, such as Wat Phra Singh, and Wat Suan Dok. These temples offer a service whereby monks will chat with tourists, educate them on Buddhist beliefs, and explain how they live on a daily basis. Visit the oldest market to see northern people sell and buy different varieties of local food. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit Baan Kang Wat, a charming little artist village set outside the town, perfect for travelers who are looking for a unique and creative experience in Chiang Mai. It is also hands-on at the diverse workshops, from pottery, art, crafts, and painting to leatherwork and jewelry making. Immerse yourself in the local culture and support the community.
