Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok; meet your guide and private transfer to hotel.

Day 2Bangkok – Bangrak Culture & Food Tasting (B,D)

Visit Wat Traimit, with its 5 ton solid Golden Buddha Image, Wat Po and the Reclining Buddah. Go by take tuk tuk to the historic Bangrak district, famous among Thai’s for its diverse local flavors. Enjoy authentic tasting locations. Meet restaurant owners, sample traditional recipes and visit fascinating hidden attractions.

Day 3Maeklong Railway Market - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market – Cooking Class (B,D)

Drive to the Maeklong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market). It is called (life- risking) market, because its stalls are attached to the Mae Klong-Ban Laem railway, and vendors must rush to clear all goods when the train comes. Visit Damnoen Saduak, the floating market and visit a coconut plantation.
Prepare a 5-course meal at the amazing Silom Thai Cooking Class where cooking and culture come together.

Day 4Bangkok – Khao Yai – GranMonte Vineyard (B,L)

Drive to Khao Yai and enjoy a wine tasting and private tour at GranMonte Vineyard.

Day 5Khao Yai National Park (B)

Visit Khao Yai National Park and take a soft trek through the stunning natural scenery.

Day 6Khao Yai – Chaiyaphum – Khon Kaen (B,L, D)

Drive to Ban Khwao, famous for its mud mee silk and cotton weaving.. Visit a local home to see how traditional, spicy Isaan sausages are made. Visit the Dinosaur Museum in Phu Wiang. Overnight in Khon Kaen.

Day 7Khon Kaen (B,L)

Visit the local market to sample local delicacies.
Visit Phra That Kham Kaen at Wat Chetiyaphum and Nong Wang Temple with views of the lake.

Day 8Khon Kaen – Udon Thani – Nong Khai (B)

Drive to UNESCO-listed Baan Chiang Village in Udon Thani Province, which has evidence of pre-historic settlements and famed for its pottery. Visit the award-winning eco-tourism village of Wang Nam Mok Homestay for an immersive experience in Northern Thai life.
Overnight at the Wang Nam Mok Homestay

Day 9Udon Thani – Chiang Mai (B)

Tour local temples and the famous image of Buddha in Phra Chao Lan Thong Village. Fly to Chiang Mai.
Meet your guide and private transfer to hotel. Stroll through the fascinating Night Bazaar.

Day 10Chiang Mai Street Food Tour and Old City Tour By Rickshaw Ride (B,L)

Visit Kad Muang Mai, an astonishing wholesale farmer’s market. Walk to Kad Luang , a well known local market and enjoy the various local specialties. Visit Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang in the old city center via rickshaw.

Day 11Chiang Mai – Araksa Tea Garden and Lisu Lodge (B,L,D)

Drive to the lush Araksa Tea Garden plantation and learn all about the tea growing process as you join resident teach pickers. Continue to Lisu Lodge for a sumptuous traditional lunch on the balcony.

Day 12Chiang Mai – Thai Cookery School (B,L)

After a fascinating demonstration by a knowledgeable instructor, you will cook your own succulent Thai food with their helpful supervision.

Day 13Chiang Mai – Departure (B)

After breakfast you will have free time until the transfer to the airport for departure.
